A myth as a replacement for a history: Ethnogenetic elements in De Administrando Imperio and the Chronicle of the Priest of Duklja

We will examine how the diversity of historical sources affects portrayal Balkan Slavs by following two writings that notably differ. First is De Administrando Imperio, written in X century. Our second source Chronicle Priest Duklja about which very little known. The have a strong influence on our understanding earliest history dwell Western Balkans. Hence, modern nations, i.e. Croats and Serbs.
